Willamette Writers challenged their members with a “Six-word
story” contest. Ridge Writers (a local writer’s group in Veneta)
decided to give it a try for ourselves. The very short story has to have
a “story arc,” meaning that there has to be change between the
beginning and the end – not an easy thing in six words!
