"Bubbling up in our own good time-- online."
Biography:

Born in Seattle and raised in Southern Oregon, I am fascinated with nature and our
human connection.  I have enjoyed reading and writing stories since childhood, and I
share this passion with my students. I am a tenured, full professor of composition.

I attended the University of Washington and graduated from Oregon State University.
Intrigued with Oregon and Washington, I often write from this perspective.  I have
recently published in
Groundwaters, Lorane, Oregon, and Mondays on the Mall, Be
Grateful in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square.  My early love of writing and
literature originated from my high school honors English teacher, beloved, former
Oregon Poet Laureate, Paulann Petersen.
