David Guy Evans
David Guy Evans is an award-winning and published poet of some thrity years. His
recent musical studies in guitar and voice have caused a metamorphosis in his poetry
writing to adopt a more lyrical song structure. To some extent, these selections are
not representative of the author’s lyrical work, inasmuch as he strives to provoke
thought and action through the creative process; hence, his writings typically deal with
many inflammatory issues. David collaborates with Marshall, his yellow Labrador guide
dog of seven years. When this native son of Oregon is not involved with his other
artistic passions of warm glass art and painting, as a last resort, he practices arts and
entertainment law and teaches a Music Business class at Northwest Christian College
in Eugene, Oregon.
