Elaine Kost lives in the beautiful Rogue Valley area of Southern Oregon. She lived in
Junction City up until a little over a year ago and wrote a Sustainable Living column for
what was then the Tri County Tribune. A homesteader by nature, she and her husband,
grow a large majority of the food they eat and try to purchase local when they can. She
enjoys crafts of all kinds including spinning, knitting, crochet, beading and hardanger.
Elaine sees writing as a way of expressing one’s self as well as sharing knowledge.
