Biography:  

I'm a Eugene teacher/linguist/sometime writer. I have taught ESL at Lane
Community College for 21 years and am active in the Very Little Theatre in
Eugene (acting/ administrating/ playwriting). I am married and live with wife and
cat Latte in Southwest Eugene, sometimes parking our car at the Lorane Post
Office to ride our bikes to Siuslaw Falls on a nice summer's day!

Demetri Liontos is a long-time Eugene resident and writer/poet. Formerly an
English-as-a-Second Language teacher at Lane Community College and the
University of Oregon, he is now devoting time in his retirement to writing more
stories, poems and short plays. His passion for foreign travel has over decades
given him a myriad of rich cultural experiences, in addition to learning five
languages with which to liven up the entertaining that he and wife Claudia enjoy
sharing. He is a life member of the Very Little Theatre, a passable cook,
raconteur, hiker and a strong believer in local literary publications such as
