Until January 2015, Groundwaters magazine was a non-profit literary journal which showcased the writing and
artistic talent of people throughout Lane County, Oregon and beyond. Our staff was entirely volunteer. We
featured writings and artwork of amateurs and professionals alike. Unfortunately, the costs of printing the 700+
copies each issue became more than we could handle, so the January 2004 was our last quarterly issue
published.

We have now combined four issues into one annual book. In the past, issues were distributed free of charge
through libraries, organizations and businesses in Lane County, Oregon and by paid subscription throughout
the rest of the United States.

This section of our website contains information on the individual issues, contributors and activities
surrounding the publishing of our wonderful magazine over its 10+ year life as a quarterly magazine.

"Bubbling up in our own good time-- online."
Judy and Sonny Hays-Eberts, the founders of Groundwaters, have set up their own website to help preserve the
archives of the "magazine years." They have already placed our back issues on their website and hope to provide a
home for all of the magazine archives eventually. They have also begun placing additional material on it that are
extensions of what Judy originally set out to do when she founded
Groundwaters magazine. I hope that you will
check it out, too.
