Bill McConochie is a psychologist in private practice in Eugene, working for the Social
Security Administration and Veterans Administration doing diagnostic evaluations. He also
does research in political psychology and has published a book of his findings available on
Party Time! How You Can Create Common Good Democracy Right Now. He
builds questionnaires and rating scales to measure violence-proneness, suicide-proneness
and where political candidates and leaders fall on a scale from dictatorship to democracy.
He is married, has two adult children and enjoys cabin life at Crescent Lake, furniture
building and dinners out with friends. He’s a Rotarian, a member of an executive association
and of the First Congregational Church in Eugene.
