Lorna McLeod is a newly retired "Jill of all trades and mistress of none". She has had many careers and many
adventures, some of them overlapping as adventurous careers. Now that she has given up working for a living, she
is looking forward to resuming the writing that is her real love. She has written (but not yet published) two novels.
(One of them got a very complimentary rejection letter from a major publishing house!)
Poetry was her first love and, since a poem can be written in an afternoon, as opposed to a novel, which can take
years, she is beginning there again, returning to the roots put down in the 80s when she won a couple of impressive
poetry contests. She lives on the Row River outside of Cottage Grove and is grateful for the chance to live in so
beautiful a place.
